But you can't distinguish the strain from ART, so including the GP counts can't be for that reason.
Two separate matters, including ART positive results is to meet CDC’s requirements to get out of ‘unknown’ category whereas testing the strain is likely WHO’s requirement

As only PCR could determine the strain and not all ART positive results go for PCR, the number of Omicron cases could be underreported

I'm sure it's vastly underreported. They are trying to wean Singaporeans off the idea that we need to track every case, and just focus on the more serious ones. Which is why tracking the GP-home recovery no. seems to me like a backward step. I'm fairly sure that in countries like US and UK, people who self-test positive with no/mild symptoms and stay at home won't be reported and counted either.

Suppose one is found ART positive and has mild symptoms.

Need to see a GP who will report to MOH and the patient can go to the selected locations to get ART kits.

I hope the omicron virus is so mild that this shot becomes unnecessary 🙏

What do u do if your classmate (not close) got C+ and due to bureaucracy MOH has not identified close contacts. You test ART right. Do you test everyday or test until when? If do PCR directly, will this be better but we hv to bear the cost is it and how much?

I think technically you don't need to do anything. You can ART or PCR for own peace of mind. Personally, I would think ART is sufficient for most if still feeling well.

Last year MOE and the schools were issuing CCTs (Close Contact Testing) as an interim measure before MOH could send out the HRWs (needed to do ART daily and bring to school for several days or until HRW protocol took over). I'm not sure if this is still going on this year (obviously takes teachers' time). We received a couple of HRWs without the CCT this year.
