I think the 24 hours is for certain stricter circumstances like visiting a hospital patient.[/quote]
Yes, and for PET too. Your TT's “PET status\" will disappear after 24h.

Your digitally authenticated/endorse/notarised ART result (to be used by travellers as their PDT) is also ''valid'' for 24h. But the test record is stored in your HH and can be shown to the airport check-in counter staff for boarding.

For countries that require 48h ART PDT, they do accept your ''expired'' 24h ART report during check-in at Changi. After all, for those coming home at Changi, ICA also accepts 2-day-old ART done overseas.

In some countries, your ART cert is valid for 72h, after which it ceases to be valid on your (foreign) app. In some \"stricter\" countries during \"stricter phases\", their ART is only valid for 24h, i.e. the unvaccinated tourist must swab every day to access public facilities/attend events like concerts.

In short, yes, it's largely dependent on actual circumstances and waves.

        Is it a funny request..

Bro-in-law tested positive, so asked hubby if can let his 3 yr old girl stay at our place while confirming if his wife is ok or not.. I told hubby.. if the niece later tested positive, then our whole household how?
Cannot intermingle lah. Didn't someone in MTF already tell us infections occur mostly within our own immediate household? That's why there was a Phase when the entire family including the maid must isolate together for some time? They also demanded that only patrons from the same household are allowed to sit together in restaurants, forcing waiters to check our Singpass e-NRIC? And during one of the Phases which I forgot, they banned non-household members from visiting one another to prevent cross-infection. These measures are all based on this same logic.

Your relative should follow Protocol 3.

There is definitely a generational difference I can feel, between my parents/in laws, and us. When they are at my place, they are probably mighty uncomfortable, as many little things they are used to, are not available at my place. Habitually, the older generation seem to turn on the TV or reach for the newspapers once they reach home. Well you see, my place has no TV, no land line, and no physical newspapers! I also don't have an airpot! Neither do I have a metal kettle to boil water over the stove - - I just use an electric one. hahahahahahahha. oops.

Some years after moving to my current place, we finally got a TV in my room, but it's pretty much a white elephant. Oops.
Neither do I! I don't watch TV progs, but will catch past Mediacorp series on MeWatch if someone gives it a good review on social media! I will only watch some overseas dramas on that under-used TV if someone is chasing that show at home. I can watch the entire drama series on my laptop.

I have never subscribed to any newspapers after I have my own property. I don't even subscribe to SPH digital news. I rely on FB subscriptions as I can get breaking news on the go. The enlargeable digital text and images are kinder to my long-sightedness. I can screengrab the Covid infographic on my HP, circle/underline and Whatsapp to my elderly parents for their info!

My room TV is a white elephant that has not been turned on for more than 10 years.

I've no landline too! I don't want callers to know if I'm at home or outside! Hahaahah!! People can reach me by HP, FB Msg/IG Msg only.
Neither do I have any wall clocks in my house as my clock is on my HP.

Yup, no airpots (waste electricity), no old-school kettle (fire hazard). Only electric kettle. That's pretty common in Singapore.

I grew up reading the newspaper every day, and it's a comfort habit? There's something I like about sitting at the table with a cup of tea, and flipping the pages! I read ebooks though.
I have a habit of reading newspapers daily but enjoy flipping the pages in my toilet before taking bath every night. 😂

Reading news at night? Should be called \"olds\", not news 😂

? You mean that thing is corrupted? Damn, got such thing. I've got 3 unused ART kits which I'm treasuring. My precious. It will be terrible if I get the same thing.

This ART kit comes as a pair in a box. One tube has liquid while the other is empty. Guess what I did? I poured some liquid into the empty tube. The kits worked well ie got \"results\" ...
