Student card should be fine. I think most of the machines can also key in NRIC.

Check where to collect here. Some locations may be closer than CC (some at HDB void decks, etc).

          Thanks!

Hello everyone, hijacking this thread to actually ask for a favour for a quick survey as a parent. The survey URL is https://smusg.asia.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_cPhvKpQO6ZOOZQq. Really appreciate if you could take 2-3 minutes to share your opinions!

A bit of context: Im doing a project as a university student and would like to understand more about parents' perspective of ice cream and healthier variations.

            Thank you so much!

Not just for the free ART kits.

My kid received HRW issued by MOH earlier. She had to ensure she was ART negative before she could step out of the house (daily). So if someone positive is not on the record, then those in close contact and risked getting COVID has no legal obligation to do daily ART before leaving home.

DD1 said her JC recently has a lot of COVID positive cases and now is JC orientation week. Scary or not? I think yes, even though one may be mild or no symptoms.

DH says just console ourselves, ART kits cannot detect the stealth Omicron sub-variant. 😂
The daily ART testing is very much up to personal responsibility. When my husband was on home recovery (unreported case), the rest of us abided by the HRW rule anyway. My daughters' offices were happy that they declared and told them to stay home too!

ART kits can detect Omicron, but the detection rate may be lower. My Dr friends say it's mainly because asymptomatic/mild cases have low viral loads, so some cases may not be picked up. However, low viral loads also means they are less likely to infect others.

My friends daughter who went tele-consulting after getting covid was not advised to report to MOH therefore not officially recorded as a statistic and fam members not issued HRW. Is there a protocol to inform MOH when self tested positive ? I don't see this guidance too so I believe our daily numbers are very under reported...
Her teenager only got well without symptoms close to 7d later. To me, I feel this is quite severe given that she was fully vax, had high fever 2d and sore throat running nose throughout.
The C+ student (aka the ''superspreader') didn't have to submit the ART +ve image to MOH I think.

Strangely, it's the HRW classmates/schoolmates (aka close contacts seated around the \"epicentre\"/tuckshop maskless partners) who would receive the MOH SMS link to upload their DAY 1 ART -ve result for MOH's record. They dont need to submit DAYS 2-7 anymore, but they have to test -ve daily before going out with their activities.

My DC is now serving the 7-day HRW by doing the above. But we the parents/household members don't get that SMS so we can go out per normal.

My DC's still going out for school, CCA and enrichments after testing -ve every morning. The test result is valid for 24h. And all the shopping malls and enrichment centre's SafeEntry tablet will show GREEN with no indication of DC's present HRW status. Tmr morning must do ART before going to school. LOL!

Are these vending machines recognising and dispensing only to HRW and C+ persons? Can non-C+ persons non-HRW persons go collect too? Won't they run out fast if normal people go collect a pack each?

Luckily I have many ART kits left at home because we didn't self-test during our VTL hols.

I really regret not taking the big Betadine glass bottle from Temasek last year. I bought the small throat spray bottle which is alr half-used when my family was overseas...Betadine is now OOS.

If u’re not a subj for HRW, u can try scanning yr i/card. You’ll just be shown “not eligible” or “not entitled” at the dispensing machine. I tried that after I discovered I’ve only 2 sets left & DH & I was having a sore throat, but checked tt my neigbourhood pharmacy won’t hv any till next week. Thankfully tested today no pink line. Will be checking with my doc tmr.
