Best not let down our guard esp with our elderly.

In short, the bold statement means, everyone...please observe social responsibility seriously and we really should. It does not mean mild or no symptoms, we are ok...they are just not reported but they are still INFECTING people.

I was just notified that I had a close contact I met a few days ago tested positive. So now I need to do close monitoring on myself too... Time to buy more ART kits! Feel like I am becoming an ARTist....I have done so many tests! 😂

Absolutely agree. Many are becoming too care-less. Ppl are less conscious abt social distancing & crowds are everywhere.

Omicron is indeed highly infectious. My SIL returned with niece & grand-nephew. Met them at their home & think that was how I got my sore throat & sniffles tho ART negative last 4 days. Am I also an ARTist now? 🤣 Will not visit MIL this week to keep her safe.

I know your feeling. I had ulcer in my throat too! Lots of phlegm but no blocked nose. Hubby hv very light symptoms of cough but he’s always stronger & rarely falls sick. Kids busy with their new term & projects. I guess less interaction for now seems to help in warding off catching the virus fr us.

We’re very mindful not to visit MIL at least for next 2 weeks. We did our LPA last week & MIL asking to do hers asap. Hopefully things less transmissible & can make appointment for her to do her LPA with our family doc.

Hope everyone can take care and have enough body rest so all symptoms of common cold will be disappeared soonest.

It’s been rainy too, so do bring an umbrella and don’t get in the rain. Once you get the common cold, people might look at you like you’re Covid+.

If it’s common cold, I wouldn’t worry. Pre-covid, we would catch the common cold (hence "common") at least a couple of times a year, surely. Most of us haven’t had one for 2 yrs now, and that’s because we’ve been forced to mostly stay home. I am willing to catch a cold or Covid occasionally if restrictions are to be lifted.

My dh will catch cold like abt 1 or 2 times a year usually. My kids and I very seldom catch cold..at least never for past 6 years. So far kids have fever only when there was infection somewhere.. I really hope the covid don't turn us into 'sickly' person
From Wednesday (Feb 16) to March 15, Covid-19 patients with mild or no symptoms can visit a test centre to take a supervised self-administered antigen rapid test (ART) for free, and get their results reflected in their HealthHub record.

This is to ease the pressure on general practitioner (GP) clinics and polyclinics, so that they can focus on patients who need medical attention, the Ministry of Health (MOH) announced on Tuesday.

Members of the public can book their supervised self-administered ART at https://go.gov.sg/community-ART-test.
If u’re not a subj for HRW, u can try scanning yr i/card. You’ll just be shown “not eligible” or “not entitled” at the dispensing machine. I tried that after I discovered I’ve only 2 sets left & DH & I was having a sore throat, but checked tt my neigbourhood pharmacy won’t hv any till next week. Thankfully tested today no pink line. Will be checking with my doc tmr.
HI, I went to collect free ART kits from the vending machine since it's DC's entitlement as a HRW person. So many vending machines in my district are OOS so I had to drive to a further HDB block to get them.

Each HRW person can collect 2 packs of 3 (total 6 kits) using Student Concession Pass/NRIC. Please rem to scan twice, peeps.
Luckily the guy behind me reminded me to scan for a second pack of 3.

But, 6 is not enough for 7 days of testings. Still need to buy extra.

As I'm not a HRW person, my NRIC was rejected. I could only collect for DC during the 7-day period. After the 7 days, I suspect the machine will not dispense any kit any more. That's to prevent ineligible persons from hoarding.
