But still only 20+ people in ICU. The relaxation is because most people (fully-vaccinated) will not suffer unduly from catching Covid (Omicron) now. With earlier strains, with this no. of cases, there might be hundreds in ICU.
To add, yesterday we had 19k+ new cases. Hence I am surprised by the announcement.
The more people get it and recover, the more protected everyone will be, and the faster we can relax further. -

Good that it's now reduced to 5 days of ART. And it'll be called HRN, instead of HRW.
But, 6 is not enough for 7 days of testings. Still need to buy extra.

Of course it's one way. My relatives just went back & had to be isolated at home for 14 days. They can cook in their own condo and WFH.
