Yeah of course I’d prefer cash, but the vouchers are okay too. We manage to spend them.

It is much better executed than the SRV, where I know some friends or relatives who didn’t get to use them. Either site crash or not savvy enough to use it.

Yes the small businesses are quick to increase price ahead of the gst hike… I don’t mind an small increase, just don’t patronise them if they increase too much unfairly.

I think the vouchers are very good thing as it forces people to use the money at local businesses, hawkers, coffee shops etc. Cash might just go to online stores, bigger chain stores, or into piggy banks. The CDC vouchers might make the difference between some of the small businesses surviving the pandemic period. I was happy to be able to spend mine (and my parents'!) at my nearby hawker centres.
Time seems to pass so quickly every day. Seldom go out look look see see. CDC vouchers till end of this year so still hv time.

Hope so. Can’t wait to bounce back coz my garden needs tending to. Hope my family can spot those okra & brinjals ready for harvest. Helper was good getting the veggies for meals daily. But for now, really no energy after all coughing & runny nose with weepy eyes. Head is banging badly. Taking the strongest paracetamol alr. Just need to sleep it out.

Oh dear, you got Covid now I kept thinking it's only your hub? Take care and rest well. Nature is quite hardy, if the weather is not excessively hot like these few days, the plants can sometimes survive a week without water. Hope you get well soon!
