I agree with everything you said except the line in bold....why won't divulge? :? Isn't it good to share the experience with others especially those who have not had it to know what to expect.
I'm afraid that is the very reason why we have this outbreak in the first place. There are people who think that they are not infectious. And most of us will not want to divulge our C+ history once we have recovered.
We just live with it. Just assume everyone you meet have covid and take the necessary precautions. You may even have got it and recovered, unknowingly.
Live again and be free. That doesn't mean we take off our masks and party like we used to. It means we stop worrying about covid, knowing that most people who get it will recover within a few days.
We should live without worries about Covid but we still have to act responsibly to do all the necessary because as long as we have no more vaccine in us anymore to take on this virus, the exposure is actually high. We forget because we are vaccinated and start to act complacent. And we have no easy way to detect how much vaccine protection we have remaining in us because everything is based on general statistics and hence a guide on timeframe. Everyone's body is different and the efficacy therefore lasts differently as well.....so please do not be complacent as if the body is \"Covid-bullet-proof\".
The other thing is everyone seemed to feel so comfortable with Omicron because it seemed mild on vaccinated cases but did anyone remember that Omicron likely came from a HIV patient according to the SA scientists? :scratchhead: -
I know they can go out even c+ tested ART- b4 the 7th day…am I right? It is ok to go out nobody has the right to stop you…what I meant was if go out run errands etc not with someone close proximity in an enclosed space…it is alright (ba). But if not, shouldn’t we just out of courtesy let the other party knows … at least give a chance to the other party to tighten the mask etc? I will do that coz I m not living in isolation not only need take care myself.I may be unintentionally and indirectly affect a vulnerable person…

I went to a friend place, in a room with few of them…family positive not too long ago and still coughing badly…I went in with the knowledge so to me there is a difference between knowing and not knowing…at least I will wear a better mask.

Haha LNW, just say only la..rating drop already can up also. I m not someone keep all these things in heart coz not much space there.. you? I think you are a nice person just more direct ba...me too la..my IQ EQ and whatever Q also I think average only.
If a person is under HRN, he/she should do the ART test with the result negative before he/she can come out to meet other people. But if people don't follow the protocol, we also cannot do anything
I just wonder what is the rating of me in you?[/quote] -

I agree with you. If need to meet someone and take off the masks, it is only responsible to inform the person and give the person a choice on what's appropriate.

Yes, actually I'm curious too. But my meeting with the 2 friends who had covid made me realise that people don't like to say they had covid. I wasn't even aware that they had covid before we met. Sure, they will share their experiences once they revealed their status, but I can understand why they did not embellish that fact. I don't think they would intentionally hide the fact, and the point is, they are ok now, anyway.

...
Would you want to wear a \"I had covid\" t-shirt to tell the world that fact? The world would immediately shun you even if you are perfectly fine now. That is why I feel that most people will probably keep that fact to themselves unless they are with close friends.
What would be unforgivable would be when someone still goes outside while they are still C+, and treat it lightly as a curable disease. It may be curable for many, but it can be fatal to others. Unfortunately, there ARE such people. That is why I say, just treat everyone you meet as C+, and always secure your mask. -

I don't understand - either they test positive or negative. How can they be C+ and test negative?
I know they can go out even c+ tested ART- b4 the 7th day..am I right?
From day 4 to day 7, if a formerly C+ person tests negative, he can go out. After day 7, even if he still tests C+, he can \"automatically discharge\" and go out. -

That's why we need the t-shirt! We're surely past the \"COVID shame\" by now? We've been happy to tell people, and so far haven't had negative repercussions. It's a good way to educate people too.
