This Sat 16 April is a Sat after a public holiday so probably no school staff working thus no open house?

Anyway, all the best to those whose P6s are taking part in sports NSG this week. Hope the outcome benefits your DSA application.

And to those who are having SA1 papers soon.

Yeah, this Saturday likely closed for business...

The dates posted above by lovinglife match what else I had seen floating around (all online/none in-person) so I would think nothing else coming in the near-term. Maybe some schools will change their mind and have F2F 21 May or 28 May.

We will probably get a press release from MOE next week or the week of the 25th spelling out the dates and protocol for this year. I guess the question is whether any in-person interviews or all still online in primary schools?

And yes, good luck to everyone in the NSG and SA1 exams!

            Hi Slavetotheboys,

May I know where do you find coaching or wushu lessons? It seems to be comparatively harder to find through Google.
Outside of schools, most of the Community Centre / Club will have wushu classes. Most, if not all, of their coaches are affiliated with a 武馆.

Alternatively, you can google. Should not be a problem to find the names of all the wuguan and one that’s near your place

                Hi KSP

If I may clarify that once a WL converts to a CO after the release of PSLE results, the applicant will not be able to participate in the Sec 1 posting exercise? What if my kid has WLs for 2 schools and eventually both converted to CO after the release of PSLE results, do we get to choose which one to accept? Or at MOE’s discretion?

If your kid has two WLs, in late-October he/she will need to rank them in order of preference. MOE's system will then see if one or both WL would be converted based on the COs that are given up at any particular school and the student's ranking within each school's WL. If both WLs would have been converted, the student will be given a spot at the WL school that was ranked higher and he/she will not participate in the S1 posting.

You would have had to rank your WLs in order of your preference, during submission of the preference form.

Thus, on PSLE results day, you will see only your higher preferred school allocated to you. (Assuming your scenario of both WLs are converted. *If only the 2nd choice is converted, then obviously you will get allocated your 2nd choice.)

While I think it is great news that so many schools would want you, getting multiple offers from different schools would be an overkill. Why not just go all out for one and be done with it? :?

Do the teachers administering DSA know about the other applications made by the students? If I am one of those teachers, I would frown on such applicants because, in my opinion, they are not serious about their intentions to go to the school.

(Half-joking)…Becos Singaporeans have it so ingrained in them that they must get 3 quotations, then compare all 3 and see which one is the best deal…but maybe finally will decide not to give any of the tenderers the business.
