Here's a reference link in PDF format from MoH for YLLSoM. Look under Liquidated Damages.

      https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.moh.gov.sg/docs/librariesprovider4/default-document-library/ay2021-nus-medicine-%28sc%29-agreement.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwjup7etnrv3AhUw6nMBHQPNCU8QFnoECAUQAQ&usg=AOvVaw0GVLolbxjgifk0ONlrQ9SO[/quote]
How much is the liquidated damages? It's not stated in the agreement.

It's so tough to get into studying medicine at our local University and why the thought of breaking bond?

I can only guesstimate it to be around $750K for 5-year bond based on \"Chinese Whispers.\"

Is it still easy to get the 80k grant for those that study medicine overseas?

I have met people with 2 As for A levels getting the grant in the past.

Totally agree with Desmond. It’s so hard to get into local medical schools, we shouldn’t even have the mindset thinking of breaking bond.

Just to update that DS got NTU offer on 30th April. We are so thankful and happy after failed attempt at NUS last year (went through FSA and SJT), failed to get offer from UK medical schools (mainly because no biology at O and A levels) and not successful at NUS ABAS this year. We should cherish if got acceptance 😊🙏🏼

I believed those on the wait-list have been nicely sorted out based on certain criteria by NTU LKCSoM and placed on the queue.

It depends on how near are you being placed on the priority queue wait-list. Those on the front queue will get a better chance.

The quota for NTU LKCSoM yearly intake is around 150 students. Thus very competitive as the number of eligible students outnumbered the vacated slots available.

Roughly how well is your BMAT and rank points performance, that will be a rough gauge of your chances on the wait-list.

Wishes you the best outcome and good luck.
