I went to Finest at lunchtime, plenty of fresh chicken leh.....doesn't seem like a sellout to me but I didn't buy cos we normally eat out.

Just returned from Sheng Siong - plenty of frozen chicken. But yes, no more discount! Didn't look at the fresh chicken as I don't buy that.

I mentioned before that there is a brand of frozen chicken at SS where the pieces are frozen individually before they are put into the big bags. The brand is Danpo from Denmark. It's convenient because you can just take out the no. of individual pieces you need without defrosting the whole bag.

Danpo frozen chicken - I have definitely bought drumsticks and thighs before. I've seen whole wings too. Not sure what else.

i usually buy frozen breast meat, fillets or drumlets.

I’ll hv to adjust my palate for frozen chickens altho we love Sadia frozen spring chicken for grills. We can eat less chicken for meals as fish has been our other regular dish for meals. Hope the chicken supply will be a short-term problem. We try to avoid red meats in our regular intake but if hv to do red meats a little more, we’ll hv to overcome our mindset coz I believe the mind drives our desires if we can bite-the-bullet & “just do it”.

For me, I just eat what I want to eat and my mindset will adjust automatically only insist don’t take sugar.

J took out the veg to cook for lunch today only to realise no more eggs. Kept reminding myself to buy eggs. Seems eggs are more important to us. Chicken buying lesser already…Frozen meat should be fine to us now.
