SPC has mind-boggling discount structure because it's kind of 'tier-ed' and need to hit certain amount to get the max discount for UOB. Not sure if it's the same for othr cards
I analysed the receipt yesterday after I topped up the gas....yes about 20% šŸ˜‚

Firstly, I found a table dated 25 May comparing the per litre prices for different type of petrol and the station.

        https://scontent.fsin14-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t39.30808-6/283361802_5109879112423562_962095123573317556_n.png?stp=dst-png_s320x320&_nc_cat=101&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=8024bb&_nc_ohc=MNkXDIvlLfMAX9iOf-b&_nc_ht=scontent.fsin14-1.fna&oh=00_AT_ZQE1jm4A5bYu4T3oByywv6H1vlI0A9mamwz6dtvM9Vg&oe=62996FE5\">

SPC seems to have the lowest price for 95 which was what I pumped....

The discount for UOB credit card as follows:
        SPC - 10%
        UOB - 5 %

Then additionally for every $60 spent, there is a $3 discount.
So if your gas is >$120, $6 discount. That should be the max discount because every gas tank can only fill up so much.
That's equivalent to about 5%. So total discount is about 20%.

If you are using the UOB One card, then there is a further cashback on a $500 statement, up to 3.33%, then total discount would be maximum up to 23.33%?

Another tip I got from the cashier yesterday, I asked her how to know about the special weekend discounts which usually would usually start from friday afternoon to sunday....like additional 5%? (verbatim from her...not sure how accurate). She said check FB...it would be announced there....if you catch it, you strike lottery... šŸ˜‚

MKS, I just posted, need to spend >$120 for $6 discount to kick in. My gas tank consumes about $125 so I always get the $6 discount. If I am not wrong, buying stuff in the store also can clock the $120 if the gas tank does not reach it. You confirmed with the cashier again....because I remembered once I was slightly lower, they asked me to purchase some $1-2 items from the store to enjoy the $6 discount.

Oic.. ok thanks. I think can take in 120 now as it is so much lesser petrol now. But I will still continue 60 as of now coz I will pass by petrol stn.

No need to track, it just means you have more discounts from cashbacks.
SPC card itself is 10% but the fixed 5% comes from the bank credit card which they tie up with so they always say it as 15%....because typically everyone pays with credit card even if they have cash due to this discount I think. I also only realised it yesterday after so long... šŸ˜‚

Before petrol went beyond $3, my each pump usually under $100. So the best discount was $60 (sometimes ago was $65) with UOB. All in all about 22% off.

But I ever pumped at Commonwealth SPC...the discount seemed less than when I pumped at Bt Batok (about the same time)

The best is sinopec...no headache min amount, which credit card or loyalty card...23% off and still can collect some points for future offset. Peak or off-peak still long Q

I've been monitoring using my wall clock which also tells the temperature. It is now 31.1C. That is hot.
It is usually between 29C and 30C. Sigh. Guess I have to hide in aircon tonight.
