Yes very hot. Under the sun is terrible. Luckily abt half the distance with some shade.

Before petrol went beyond $3, my each pump usually under $100. So the best discount was $60 (sometimes ago was $65) with UOB. All in all about 22% off.

But I ever pumped at Commonwealth SPC...the discount seemed less than when I pumped at Bt Batok (about the same time)

The best is sinopec...no headache min amount, which credit card or loyalty card...23% off and still can collect some points for future offset. Peak or off-peak still long Q
Maybe some has own inhouse discount, so extra. Never tried Sinopec before coz seldom come across. Few times too little petrol then I tried Caltex? but coz dunno the perks so will just pump $10 first 😂

Read somewhere that it was 34deg but feels like 41deg at some parts of Singapore yesterday.

I parked myself at my office and stayed put so did not feel it at all.

Actually, I happened to be thinking abt how during CB, some ppl appreciates WFH as can spend more time bonding with family, but for others, it creates problems of friction, competition for use of lepton & devices, space & home noise during zoom meetings. Initially when Spore open up with restrictions & ppl drag their feet, having accustomed to easy-going stay-home disposition. With recent heatwave, I was thinking more ppl will appreciate staying back in office with less sweating. That’s my guess of sentiments.

I'm flexible. I am usually in the office about 4 days a week. I make it a point to go in on Mondays though as that is usually the day when I see higher number MCs thus the need to reshuffle manpower.

Since outside is very hot, you try to stay indoor during day time and only go out or doing gardening at night. Remember to drink more water. 😄

I remember during CB people resisted working from home, so much complains and grouses. Say less productive, more stress, blurring of lines between wkg hours and off hours, etc. Then slowly people got accustomed to working from home. When restrictions eased, all want to continue working from home 😓

                    People, hard to please.

More for my own record..the healing of my plantar foot seems quite positive. No swelling feeling this morning..but a bit of feeling when bend the foot (even)when walking bare footed at home..please let it able to heal completely 🙏 ..I started feeling the pain around May 21.
Hi Mrs Kiasu. I had plantar fasciitis on both feet a few years ago (one after another). I solved it by wearing thick sole shoes when outside (I wear sports shoes most of the time) and thick sole sandal when inside the house (I wear the thickest Crocs sandals at home). Since then, I don’t feel any pain anymore. Bare foot is a no no no.

I see, so you have min. 01 day can work from home every week. Yes, I am also very busy on Monday morning. I believe your dog will miss you when you are working in office.
