Since outside is very hot, you try to stay indoor during day time and only go out or doing gardening at night. Remember to drink more water. 😄[/quote]
Nighttime gardening is limited to spraying organic pesticides or such. Can’t do much maintenance in the night & it’s not safe. Early morning pruning, tidying & fertilizing is best. Even harvesting had its timing. Typically, harvest in morning veggies it’s best but if u try to harvest mid-day, veggies tend to be very limp & don’t look fresh. A farmer’s life isn’t easy, must early rise & early sleep.

I remember during CB people resisted working from home, so much complains and grouses. Say less productive, more stress, blurring of lines between wkg hours and off hours, etc. Then slowly people got accustomed to working from home. When restrictions eased, all want to continue working from home 😓

        People, hard to please.
People are creature of habits...good or bad ones...all counted. 😂

I guess DH is the ‘strange one’ - he prefers working fr home & finds it more productive then hv all sorts of interruptions in the office. He’s dealing with regional Bz & zoom mths are most productive when travel restrictions are imposed. But recognize, not all jobs can WFH. One of my BIL hv to be physically at work during CB. I guess this similar to all frontliners or those in consumer supply line & hv to be present amongst products or machines for physical checks, maintenance & stock-take.

What you say is definitely true for edible plants... Watering before sunrise is the best for them.
When the weather is super hot, gotta keep misting the air if you want the plants to survive the heat....so it is a lot of environmental watch taking care of plants and shifting them everywhere just to get the best conditions for them.
If you plant on the ground, typically cannot move the plants about, so timing becomes critical. In potted cases, it is still possible to shift the plants about before the heat wave chew them up.

Hi Mrs Kiasu. I had plantar fasciitis on both feet a few years ago (one after another). I solved it by wearing thick sole shoes when outside (I wear sports shoes most of the time) and thick sole sandal when inside the house (I wear the thickest Crocs sandals at home). Since then, I don’t feel any pain anymore. Bare foot is a no no no.
Hihi ngl, good to hear that..we have hope..can recover :rahrah:

Mine on one foot..and I feel that it is getting alot better these 1 or 2 mths..let's see..keep fingers crossed

My DH is the same. He prefers working from home, less traveling to and fro office and more time to finish up his work. I, on the other hand, prefer to be outside instead.

Oh I suddenly have a craving for those confinement, vinegar pig trotters! Are you making that? Where’s a good place for that dish, anyone knows?
