I don't know what you are th issues you have to face but there is no perfect in this world. It is always be \"你看我好,我看你好‘’,I envy you as you have a car, can drive, have give birth to 2 dds, stay in Condominium. You envy me got full time job with bonus, surrounded by many friends, having eating and boardgames events every week....ask yourself if your stress come from your insist of perfect or the principles in your mind. DH got legs and dds got wings, what can we do? Put your leg into their shoes, do you want more freedom from parents when you were young? Did you ever miss any MRT station? Of course, I got my own problems...may be could share here later.

Just think we are fortunate people living in Singapore...not a refugee running to other countries like people in Ukraine now.
A few years ago I missed MRT station. Trying to go City Hall, didnt pay attention, was on phone and went to Raffles Place. :rotflmao:

Same thots. S’times were on hp & missed buses, Grab or stations. It happened to DS too in his 1st, until I had a good chat with him. His learning curve improved to perfection now. Thankful coz I know some parents hv it hard when kids keep missing buses or stops.

It happens. Even until now. DS will occasionally miss his stop because he fell asleep on the bus or train. Happened recently.

Dd1 is going out with her friend… Maybe good to let her explore abit more on her own. Not very conscious with the surroundings.

After visiting M’sia post covid, I’m reminding myself that we’re very blessed in SG & feel so sorry for many M’sians who had lost bz, home & self as we see so many shops up for rent & sale having businesses collapsed and many homeless sleeping on the streets in corners on cardboards, with old dirty blankets & bowls left lying around for use whenever they can afford mealtime. Many sat next to their belongings begging. Saw a skinny lady with 2 daughters begging at a corner bustop. Was feeling so sad coz my kids back home hv no worries abt when next meal will come, with their main preoccupation only getting the latest info on YouTube or getting the latest show model or snagging the best internship to build their CVs. Heard many cultural training Centres (haircut academy, massage training centres, TCM etc) were closed for good due to covid. Hope travel & tourists return their lives soon.

Just wondering if the age for exit permit was raised in recent years??

Getting my passport done then realised I might need to seek exit permit for boy turning 12.

ICA and CMPB websites say age 13 and above then need.

I somehow remember my brother needing to get one before overseas holiday at age 11/12…
I did not . It’s holidays we are not staying more than a month overseas .
