Dd1 is going out with her friend.. Maybe good to let her explore abit more on her own. Not very conscious with the surroundings.
Ya , learn to take public transport , read directions are good life skills .
Green line to blue line to brown line to purple line etc all must know ! But dd has not explored much on bus network yet beside taking to sch n nearby mall .

Just wondering if the age for exit permit was raised in recent years??

Getting my passport done then realised I might need to seek exit permit for boy turning 12.

ICA and CMPB websites say age 13 and above then need.

I somehow remember my brother needing to get one before overseas holiday at age 11/12…[/quote]
I did not . It’s holidays we are not staying more than a month overseas .

Come to think of it, we never did for DS either all these while when we go overseas for holidays.

Hi does anyone knows, if my current passport is still valid for more than 6 months, but I had submitted application for a new passport, can I still travel using my current passport while the new passport application is still in progress?

                Thanks.

Should be able to. I recall ICA does not decommission (+ punch hole in) the old passport until the day u collect the new one.

Try calling ICA hotline to double-check?

Found this in the ICA FAQ (under Passport collection-General):
Can I still travel using my current passport if the new passport is ready for collection?
Answer: Prior to the collection of your new passport, you can continue to use your current passport for travels* as long as your current passport has at least six months of remaining validity.

(*The grant of entry into a foreign country is the prerogative of the foreign immigration authority concerned. The possession of a valid passport does not always guarantee entry to foreign countries.)

Since this is the case, if you haven't even been told that your new passport is ready, you can still use your current one.
