Me Time!

I agree with Funz.
We need to watch what we eat, control of sugars & do some form of exercises tailor to our lifestyle.
We can control our food when we cook at home. I don’t do deep fry for 95% of my meals except the occasional. I’m light on salt to help DH control his intake as he’s got high blood & high cholesterol. I use either olive oil or rapeseed oil & we typically eat white meat, but when our on meals, we don’t restrict ourselves if we’re keen for duck or beef dishes of the occasional kambing. But we’ll hv 2 veggie dishes & plenty of fruits (at least 3-5 varieties daily). I guess that’s the only sugar I take. Even for my tea, I use only honey & not in heaps. I do hv sweet tooth but under control, u like my younger days when I nvr had to worry abt weight gains no matter how much cakes I bake & eat or down tubs of my favorite ice cream. Guess I had said my goodbyes to those blissful youthful days.
An hour after meals, I’ll walk with DH. He does a longer stretch then I can manage. Ocassionally when I’m relieved fr my gardening, I’ll join him for brisk walk or explore the forest track or rail tracks. Gardening can be great wirk outs climbing, carrying heavy pots & bags of heavy soil, chopping overgrown fruit trees, etc.
I’m keeping around 48-50kg. Can still go abit slimmer I guess. -

You have to consider height too. I'm short (1.55m) - at 53kg I am in the normal range for my height. If I get to 62kg, I would be overweight! Can't compare with someone who is 1.7m, say.
Yes chief 62kg! I read quite a lot of you guys around 70+ kg though my dh is many more kgs than that. 46kg is really very thin. I remember when I was think at least 48kg when I was studying..my mom saw my picture still remember side view laughing sitting on bed and my mom say I looked like a monkey..Mom says no meat lol. At 53kg, I (think la haha) I looked trim. Now is fat!
I think 70+kg would be nice..60+kg guy I think too slim. To me la.. -

Yes, we definitely need to consider height! At my height, my weight is still acceptable. Try taking your BMI/health status, instead of focusing on your weight alone.

Actually, my primary reason for losing weight was to be able to wear my older pants

So happy to be able to wear them again.
But when I was 68kg, they were a bit too big for me.
Sigh. Too big cannot. Too small also cannot. Must thread the middle path. -
Also, for managing weight loss & washing out oil & greasy food, try adding in some pickled salad or drink vinegar in the early morning before anything else. From time to time, I will squeeze half a lemon into my tea. I’ve nvr had to worry abt my weight when young & only time my weight bothered me was after childbirth, during which I tried ginger tea to expel as much heat as possible in my body alternative with fresh lemon tea with Manuka honey.

DH claimed that the washer at the rental that we are staying at now shrunk his pants. I just agree with him. He ask me if I am just patronizing him, I agreed with him on that as well.

Sometimes when the tummy is little bigger..we do feel as tho the pants has shrunk
