Just get my 02nd booster shot at Hong Kah School Campus, the observation period is shortened to 15 min. Have to wait around 30 min before the shot as there are people walking in like me. Feeling very thirsty now and is hunting for a drink nearby. I hope no more adverse effects as have to attend a boardgames event tomorrow afternoon.
Feeling thirsty is side effect of vaccination? Or you eaten food with msg before the vaccination?

Mum got it 3 weeks back and I was playing MJ with her the day before she tested positive. She was having a bit of a cough then but tested negative on the day that we had our MJ game. 2 days later, elder sis tested positive as well, she was also there that weekend but she was not playing MJ with mum. Elder sis and I were still having lunch and I was sending her home and evening she tested positive. I thought I would also be infected but I as fine.

Just when I thought I was out of the woods, DH tested positive last weekend. He started having sorethroat on Friday and tested positive on Sunday evening. He was supposed to head overseas on Monday so had to scramble to cancel all his plans. There is no way to effectively isolate DH at this rental place as there is no spare room. So we moved dd to bunk in with me and DH slept in her room instead. All of us use the master toilet leaving the common toilet for DH. I thought I will likely be infected since I was still sharing food with DH when he started having sorethroat, not to mention sleeping together when he was already symptomatic. To date, I am still fine, dd and ds are fine too.

Drinking water now as I don't take drinks with sugar. Thank you for your concern.

Speedy recovery for yr hubby. If u hv Orasyl, might relieve his sore throat faster.

Hope the rest of yr family stay safe & healthy. We had many of our holiday plans kept getting postponed for covid. Hope yr hubby gets good rest & recover smoothly.

Take care Funz…good to hear that it is possible for someone of close proximity not getting it.

                        zac's mum\" post_id=\"2070178\" time=\"1654920380\" user_id=\"53606:
That’s good. It is definitely still going around cos I hear of this friend & that friend catching it. Or their kids. Some had to miss their overseas holidays.
Since you are also aware the Covid-19 is still around with people catching it, I think your family members should try to stay at home until the last PSLE exams day. It is because even the Omicron is relatively mild but it may affect our brain function.

I have observed my colleagues, friends and boardgames playmates these few months and found that their emotion, memory, response and the use of language, etc., are affected by the Omicron in different extents. Even there is no brain fog, the reaction from their brain are relatively slow than before even after 2 months from their recovery. As you and Zac have spent lot of efforts in the preparation of coming PSLE exam, it is not worthwhile his exam performance to be affected by Omicron. Therefore my advice is the whole family stay at home as much as you can in order to prevent catching Omicron.
