I saw OCBC, Uob, hsbc, Barclays etc selling perpetual now with reasonable good coupons rate. The lower the less risk lor.

1.3%fixed..you really lucky gal. I been paying less than 1% then last mth 1.5% next 1 or 2 mths I think should be abt there and thereafter :nailbite:

Thanks leeyl..so make me laugh lol.
Can, REITs are avail on POEMS.
My friend recommended an UOB perpetual. 4.25%pa till 2027. I think very safe. UOB unlikely to go belly up by 2027. -

Mrsks, u also lucky that been paying less than 1% for last 2 yrs? Now us a matter of time , borrowers to be hit by new rising rates . Up n down waves for home owners . But no urgent need to pay off if other investments returns are higher .

That means that if I own a HDB now and would like to purchase a private condo for investment, there is no way to avoid paying the 17% ABSD? Definitely have to pay right?

No way to avoid. That’s why some parents buy under Trust for their babies! :rotflmao:
