It is not a worst school.
let me answer your question.
1. Academic Teachers are all graduated from NIE. They need at least certain number of years teaching in a MOE School before they can apply and teach in singapore sports school.
2. Most sporting coaches are ex-national athletes and/or are very experience coaches and a plus if the coach is a foreigner which coaches the national team in his/her origin country.
3. SSP has one of the best boarding facilities. the students are well taken care of. every level is categorize into houses. each house has 2-3 staff to take care of the students well being. They do make sure every students feel comfortable in boarding.

It’s the time of the year again. Show of hands who is applying and which sports? Am looking at Netball for my gal. She is really into it. Her eyes sparkle when discussing tactics with her team.

If we are offered a place, are we allowed to go through the DSA exercise for other mainstream school?

My son is in sports school currently.its a very good school I must say. My son not only better in character ...studies and also sports! It's not just a normal sports school..to me it's one of the best schools .teachers are good and very approachable.one of my son is in one of the top sec schools and to compare ...between these two schools i prefer sports school . Closely knit community

Do you mind me asking if your child was doing well academically before joining SSP?
My feeling is that the coaches seem to treat students in different streams differently. Not sure if the positive feedback is mostly from the IB track… Thank you!

My child …he’s so so express stream. I like his coach.my son loves his coach too! I’m not sure Abt that statement but I beg to differ the teachers and coaches are very good.
