Just to let u know my child so far rcvd 2 shortlists for string ensemble and 1 invitation from nushs

yday went for string ensemble at NYGH
child said it was kinda fun, teachers and students are very kind and friendly (2 interviewers: conductor and teacher in charge)
anyone know when they will announce CO/WL?

This raises a good question - do schools ever announce results earlier than 12 September (or whatever date has been scheduled by MOE)?

This raises a good question - do schools ever announce results earlier than 12 September (or whatever date has been scheduled by MOE)?

NUSH results are due 13 August or by August (different sections of website). HCI results are due 26 August. Guess is that most will come in early-September, while a few may hold out until/closer to the deadline.

I think more results were out earlier last year (2021) vs. the year before that (2020). Perhaps the second time through the online interviews/selection tests helped move things along. Not sure if the trend will hold this year, as schools may hold multiple rounds.
