There is nothing you can do to prepare it is based on your child IQ.

Those interested to try out DSA, some of the schools DSA exercises will start in May. In fact, NJC's DSA application has already started.

Some of the school's open house :
1. NJC - 19-April-08 (last Sat)
2. ACS(I) - 25 April 08 (invitations given out to children through the primary schools)
3. Hwa Chong Institution : 3-May-08
4. Raffles Institution : 17-May-08

Different schools set different papers and have different criteria for their selection. But you can treat it like a \"job interview\". The process is the same. First, submit your profile ('CV\"), stating all your achievements, both in CCAs and academic achievements, including competitions, awards etc.

Then, you will be shortlisted for tests and interviews. Most require students to sit for a GAT (General Ability Test). After that will be the various papers, some need to sit for all, some selectively chosen. After that, will be the interview.

Interview questions like :

Why do you want to come to our school ?
How do you think you can contribute to our school ?
How do you think our school can help you maximise your potential ?
What are your strengths and weaknesses ?

HCI does interview in 2 langugaes, English and Mandarin. So 3 teachers, they take turns to ask question in the 2 languages.

How do you think you can benefit from an education at School?
How can you contribute to the school?
Tell us about your ambition. Why have you chosen this ambition and how will you go about achieving it?

So many question to ask a 12 years old child. How did answer back to?
