Not sure. I checked nush web, Namelist not out yet. This year only theory test, no practical. So I assume this theory round will be the final round. Btw, previously, some parents posted 2016 & 2017 awardees namelist in this chat. Maybe can refer as a rough guide. Total of 108-120 P5 students receiving gold, silver & bronze.

Oh last Friday already out? My Ds also got the news on Monday. I also wondering the same thing, medals allocation. I wonder if this year the gold medal award ceremony will be in NUSH as per precovid times.

Prior to that, the number varies from year to year. As a rough indication, it is about 20 Gold, 40 Silver and 60 Bronze each year. -

I think some people last year claiming no limit on number of participants for SPSO (RSO was limited to 5 per school so in some cases everyone went SPSO, only some RSO). I don't know for sure what the case is (with SPSO).
Is it still restricted to 9 participants per primary school?
21 Gold, 41 Silver and 62 Bronze for SPSO 2017.
