Anyone received any interview shortlist from SCGS for sports domain?
Your daughter attended the audition on 14 July? Any news after that?

Dear parents, My DD received an interview for MT (Malay) DSA at SCGS. Do you know whether the interview will be in the Mother tongue (Malay) or English? The interview slot is only 15 mins. Not sure what to prepare. Any tips would be good. Thanks in advance.
Did you attend the audition on 14 July? When is the interview?

Sorry for my insensitivity and ignorance. For children with AL4-6, wouldn’t it better to use psle score instead of DSA? They might be able to enter a "better" school with psle result? Actually they can choose any school with that result

Hi 👋 Jelly, I think the PSLE exam stress level will go down tremendously when one has a CO DSA. Also AL4-6 not guaranteed during PSLE, a lot of uneventful things might happen. This DSA offers a really good headstart. :xedfingers:

For children with ACTUAL PSLE AL score of AL4 to AL6, they can choose any school with that result.

Unfortunately, as of now, no one knows what their ACTUAL PSLE AL will be. Children who are currently AL4 (4 x AL1) could drop to AL8 (4 x AL2) and AL6 may end up with AL10. As a result, they might end up with a 'lesser' school compared with what they wanted to secure via DSA.

That’s the fear of most people.

Ah…I haven’t seen the correct use of the word “lesser” in a long, long time!

DS and I been having a good laugh at Science answer keys that keeping proclaiming lesser heat, lesser water vapour, lesser food…

Many things can happen from now to the actual PSLE exam. The DSA gives some level of certainty which makes it easier for the child (and parent), especially if it's in area where the child has a passion or a keen interest.
