For those waiting to hear from SST, I received this reply from them a while ago..

We are still in the shortlisting process and will inform applicants via email if they are shortlisted.

Applicants who are not shortlisted for Phase 2 will be informed via email before 13 Aug.

Did you also apply for ACSI? There seems to be not much news on their DSA shortlist.

For Science, I received it as “academic domain”, not “leadership”

Was that also a rejection? I hope not but if it was, did it have the same contents?

I suspect they used the same template but forgot to change to the correct domain, i.e. it is a rejection. Oh well.

Yes rejection. Same contents, only different domain.
Your DS applied for which domain?

The strange thing is that my DS applied for the AEP and he already had his interview. So, I’m not sure what further shortlisting is required here.


Anyone who received this "rejection e-mail" also has a child trying out for the Arts / AEP program?

I think only the leadership domain has the error. Probably wrongly sent to all applicants instead of those that applied for that domain.

I've sent a note to RI to get their clarification. Hopefully, it was an error and my DS is still in the running.

Could be sent to all rejected applicants but the 'mail merge' didn't update / capture the correct domain or talent area.
