No one doubt the official-ness of the Healthcare FB.
…
Healthcare FB is official.
The only valid questions are:
1. Why was 36 schools / names singled out in the comment earlier? What happen to the 70 others? What was the thought process in picking out some schools and not others?
2. Is 107 pictures the full, 3/4 or 1/2 of a list? Were some pictures and not shared? Did some or many people missed the ceremony?
3. Were the award for the ‘20, ‘21 graduating batch? (Probably doesn’t really matter)
We can see what we can see. However, it’s the things that we can’t see that needed questioning. I take it that you do not know, and that’s perfectly fine. Without presenting a full picture or at least some disclaimer to what was / wasn’t presented, it’s akin to arguing that the elephant is thin and slender because we can only feel and hold the tail.
TL; DR - it’s GIGO. -

I saw the pic of the Hci girl shake hand with OYK at the ceremony in her Instagram. I do not think she cares to know why her photo was missed.
To Imp75, be more specified that HCI gal award.
Did she attend that day Healthcare Sch Presentation Day?
If so, she can voice out why her photo MIA? -

All photos 107 are in the FB. Nvm.
Point 2 and 3 none of us know.
But the SAF Scholarship awardees shared included graduating batch 2018 or so.
The Healthcare awardees shared are what we can see in FB.
If u want to think its not full picture , up to u.
Your integrity is still questionable- stamped and chopped. -

Ok I stand corrected, I took another look again and found her amongst the 5 Hci students in the 107 pictures….

I also googled cos first time hearing about Healthcare Merit award. Should be to encourage people to join the public healthcare sector like nursing, speech therapy, physiotherapy etc. The award excludes Medicine degree.

Except for nursing, those professions you mentioned I don’t think are degree courses but of cos my knowledge is limited here. That’s why I was a bit puzzled about the awards.

Now disciplines like physiotherapy, speech therapy etc. also need degree. It seems that the award is also given to diploma holders and mid-term career converts who join public healthcare.

I think the problem is there’s no head no tail - all you get is an “award” in which some schools are represented. There’s no explanation what’s the award about, at what level was the award pitch at, how many were handed out etc. Meanwhile, a post was made to single out some schools while others are not.

There’s not very much you can make out of it if the integrity and completeness of the data is questionable (and by extension, the integrity and objectiveness of the person presenting it in the first place).
