Do the IP schools usually give out the COs last ?

Have heard conflicting stories on that. In past year dsa threads, seems the IP schools like nygh, njc, scgs, mgs, rgs are very late in the game in giving out sports COs.

Now also hearing thru the grapevine that nygh have offered COs in late July for various sports (netball and tennis). Heard from good friends about their friends’ daughters, so I cannot confirm it’s true given multiple degrees of separation !

Wanted to check here if folks have any concrete data or past year experience on this.

Oh, so meaning those WL got converted to CO before PSLE released date?
Successful conversion from WL to CO will be reflected on the PSLE result slip on day of collection . The school of your choice will be printed on the slip.

Can I check if unsuccessful conversion of WL to CO will also be indicated on the result slip? As in printed along with the results??

In the past, there will be no indication except the grades. Meaning Conversion is unsuccessful

                    Anymore updates?
Just spoke to my son's friends when I went to his school to volunteer and learnt that 1 has received CO from ACS Barker for Rugby. Given on the spot during 2nd trial/interview.

Another friend received CO from Fuhua Sec for Band (Drums).

If converted, will receive a separate letter from secondary school to say you are posted to the school when you collect their result slips

Yes. During the talk where parents/students went to the secondary school to collect the CO/WL, the principal requested that anyone with CO who decided not to join the school before the deadline (e.g., the student got a CO from another school subsequently) to inform the school asap. For these rare cases, the WL was converted to CO before PSLE Release.

It happened a few years ago and other parents shared that it also happened in subsequent year or two.

I have not heard about such cases during the last 2 years so I am not sure if any school still practises this now.

                        All the best.
