Ximin Secondary has released their DSA result for badminton. My daughter has a CO and she is happy. I would like to check if that as long as she can get AL20, she get in right. The cut off for Ximin on express is around AL12 last year.

Hi and congrats. For the Express stream, I believe she just needs to qualify for the Express/NA Option or AL21-AL22, although if you really want to be sure try to confirm this elsewhere (below is RI's answer).

If she scores in the NA or NT band, I believe the CO is still valid, just that she will be posted to the corresponding stream that she qualified for/is able to select.

For those who received a CO, congratulations! For those who hasn’t, it doesn’t matter. Getting a CO simply gives some breathing space for the student… EVERYBODY still has to take the PSLE! So if you hasn’t gotten a CO, simply do well in the PSLE and then you can apply to go to that school again, with flying colours. And if you have gotten a CO, you still need to do well in the PSLE to make sure you are within the school’s AL requirements so that you are not far off from the rest of the kids that make it to the school.
