To me, it was like how I would feel in early spring on the first day of not wearing a heavy winter coat! Nice and light.
I feel strange w/o a mask when outside. -

I used to only use lipstick, then stopped when mask-wearing came into force. As long as I still need to wear a mask on public transport, I won't even bother to resume wearing lipstick. Save some money!

I’ll continue wearing my mask when I’m out. Guess it’ll take s’time before majority of population goes w/o mask. When infection & re-infection numbers trickles to a handful and ppl feels ‘safe’.
There will be some more conscious of individuals who cough incessantly on buses or train despite having masks on. -
Not likely the infection and re-infection rates will go down, right?
As of last week, DH’s office has around 10 staff on MC due to covid. At the peak (after the Jun holidays), he remembered the same figure was around 100. We shall see what will the figure be in 2 weeks’ time.
It is likely that even if the daily infection figures spike, govt will not U-turn to require mandatory mask wearing. Unless the seriously sick and ICU figures go up again. -

The infection rates will surely go up in the near term, but I guess the authorities have decided that it will not cause any undue pressure on hospitals. This would happen whether it's done now nor later, so now is as a good a time as any.
