I wouldn't ask young people to \"rush\" to marry young; but for those who have met the partner, and are ready, I wouldn't ask them to postpone just because they are waiting for a BTO. I can see the pros and cons for marrying at different ages and stages of life, but every couple is different.

I married at 23 and so did my parents. They have been married 60 yrs, and we have been married 35. So early marriages can last too. My kids have missed that boat! The younger one is already 23, and we aren't planning a wedding yet.
You are earlier! Where did you get to know your dh?

Ya. I do hv my own stumbling block earlier in life. It’s a life’s learning journey. I was caregiver & put more focus in bread & butter then climbing the corporate life thdn. I’m happy with the outcome.

Yes. Contentment, I feel, is the key to be happy. I’ve to control keeping myself overly busy. Shld slow down as I age le. Don’t worry abt not having complete all my desired hobbies or done this or that. I’m human after all.

University. We married a year after graduation. My parents met in Pre-U, and married as soon as my mother finished her teacher training.

Back to housing - my husband and I bought from the sale of balance flats and collected keys just before our wedding. My parents rented a house (shared with other family members) for a couple of years before moving into their own place (they probably didn't qualify for public housing in those days).

That's solid. We knew each other abit earlier but worked to earn enough money to buy a resale old hdb and rom.

Peace of mind without worries, is priceless. Enjoy the times with families and friends is such a blessing
That's why never stretch beyond our finances, even in daily purchase or spending. Small savings goes a long way.

Ikr. S’times I enjoy my special plants so much, not enuf time to TLC them. Enjoy cooking & baking and keep trying to do new recipes for my family & I’ve been baking bread & such for our morning b’fast. So kot enuf time lor. But I’m trying not to take up too many hobbies, yet 心痒痒 want to do soap-making & still trying my jelly-art.
