Really happy for the number of COs (& WLs) coming in for RI. My DS got rejected but RI was a bit of a pipe dream. He's secured 2 COs elsewhere so no real complaints anyway πŸ™‚ Ultimately, the journey is a long one and this is just one step but it's awesome to know that many children are able to utilize the DSA to their advantage.

I will continue to update the DSA tracker. It's for another few days anyway and if it helps others, I'm happy to do so πŸ™‚

Do you mind sharing his profile?

Congrats and all the best to his PSLE too! :rahrah:
Thank u both... DS is in mainstream, sch results consistently around AL8 or so, weak in languages but strong in math and science. Based on psle grades, he probably would not make it into RI.

He has platinum for SMOPS, gold for NMOS, HD for RIPMWC and gold for IMSO.

He says the DSA selection test and interview went well. For the interview, he was the one who spoke the least in the group of 3. However, he was asked to prove something math related on the spot and managed to do so. He is generally quite reserved but cheerful. Hope this helps.

Thanks for sharing. Very well deserved. Congrats once again.

Just wondering whether anybody not in IMSO but with Gold in NMOS, SPSO received CO from RI in Math or Science domain?

RI Math is the most competitive one along all DSA schools, domains. They might only take 20+math and 10+scince.

For a ref, my boy has 2 SMOPS platinum, gold NMOS, siler RSO, D in RIPWMC. AL level 6-7. The possible reason that he only get a WL instead of a CO:
                      1. Only D in RIPMWC, no 2round. For RI, RIPWMC might take the most weight.
                      2. He did not manage to get top 30 in all these MOs.

Hope these benchmark info helps DSA applicants for next year.

Can I double check what is the commitment/obligation for service leadership dsa for NY?

Congratulations to everyone who got CO & WL.

The exact duties I'm not sure but I think it should be along the line of community service and taking up leadership roles in the various projects. πŸ€”
