If you are not diabetic, 1 or 2 a day should be ok.

If you are diabetic even 1/2 may be a problem.

Overripe bananas are the best for baking. Or try making pancakes with them.

Thanks, guys for the ideas... smoothies and banana cakes sound good! But I am lazy leh... so everything I just eat as is. There's the reason why cooking/baking and me doesn't really gel šŸ˜‚
Yuh hor... I forgot about the sugar in bananas... hmm... it can't be that high, right? :nailbite:
Does your sister bake? Freeze them then pass back to her for her baking? And maybe she will give you some of the results!

I often get into the \"too many bananas\" situation, and I also do what the others suggest - mostly banana muffins or cakes (but my kids are sick of them now), banana pancakes, and sometimes smoothies. Anyone with other suggestions?

I'm \"borderline\" diabetic. Been there for a long time. But no meds or special insulin procedures.
Just regular checks at the polyclinic.
If I make them into pancakes, I'd still be eating them šŸ˜‚
Never mind... I'll leave the remaining 3 bananas for tomorrow. Already ate 4 today...
          See how lor.

The big bananas, or the little ones? 4 big bananas is a lot! If you use wholegrains with the bananas, it could lower the GI (that's my reasoning, anyway).

It has been already 40 years, I have not taken any banana. When I was small, the doctor told my mother - banana would cause coughing on me and therefore she never let me took banana. Then later my TCM doctor also instructed me not to take any banana because it is too "cold" (凉) for me, so I had even never touched any banana muffins or cakes.

I remember making banana nutella ice cream for kiddos last time.

Caramelise the bananas, you can keep that in the fridge for a few more days and use it as toppers or sauce for your pancakes, french toasts, oats, etc. Eat it with prata or wrap in pohpiah skin and fry.

The easiest is to slice them up and freeze them individually store and use as and when.

You can always cube and freeze them and eat them later as frozen fruit which is quite refreshing

The other day I kept 2 bananas with skin into fridge. Over 2 days still ok, cold dessert.

Well you do not need to be eating them all at a go. Pancakes freeze well and can last for weeks in the freezer. So you can spread out your eating. šŸ˜‰
