      Hi parents

Congrats to all parents whose child has just finished their PSLE!

My DS is going on P4 next year and looking for great tutors. Any recommendations for good home tutors/tuition centres (pref in the west) that you have come across? I welcome recommendations for all subjects.

I don’t visit this forum often so I’d appreciate it if you can pm me good tutors/tuition centres contacts with me.

      Thanks

My kid said the indicated turkey temp in the question is 74 deg. Her answer was that’s the max temp it can reached. 😅

There was another question about the distance the car travelled… My DD said that she only remember the back wheel of the car was at 1.2cm and after the car moved, its backwheels was at 10.2 cm (it was on a ruler I think).

I heard one question was :

The oven’s temperature went up to 180 degrees but despite putting the turkey in for 2 hours , the turkey didn’t reach a temperature of 180 degrees . Why ?
mine put turkey is a poor conductor of heat thus it needs a longer time to be heated and has not reached the same temperature as the oven after 2 hours.

My daughter said cuz the turkey is thick and there are air spaces and air is a poor conductor of heat so the rate of heat transfer is slower. Therefore the temp couldn’t reach 180

                    I think this is correct

Ah no, he found it hilarious (poop joke) and of course tried to explain to me his answer but I think it’s wrong (he probably missed some clues in the qn).

Anyway just going to enjoy our celebration (and laugh over how they had to censor the guy squatting over the hole in the ground).[/quote]
                      what's the correct answer,
why mosquitoes / flies are attracted to smelly human poop (shit) / cow dung ?
