Thx Star. I will be bringing my 11-year-old asap on 25 Oct for his first booster. Heaving a sigh of relief that they managed to make it available earlier, before his 12th birthday.

We are holidaying in a small town in Europe right now, no signs of Covid or masks, everybody is so carefree & happy. Not sure why back home in SG has so many cases now. High population density?[/quote]
Yes, we have to travel in a crowded bus or MRT Train to work everyday, moreover we are an international city with lot of local and foreigners travelling in and out (the F1 was just finished last week).

Not offer to age 50 and below for 2nd booster ie 4th dose yet.
Ah, ok. I somehow thought that they made it available once you've passed 270 days from your last booster. Oh well... I guess that makes life easier then. Thanks!

what happen if one 3rd dose ( 1st booster) is already more than 1 year,

will then 2nd booster be effective then , or consider lapse & can’t follow up already

Based on my limited understanding (pls dont blame me if wrong), it will be considered lapse if the last dose was more than a year ago, right?

For traveling purpose if above 50 but not taken 4th jab does it mean it’s not fully vax?
Also for those above 50,can they take the booster from comralty or do they hv to switch to moderns spikevax (only avail after mid Oct at selected centres only). I realise news reporting on this is not v clear, MOH is also not v clear
For travelling purposes, it depends on the country you are going to. A lot of countries don't even check vaccination status now. In general, when they did, 3 doses counted as \"fully vaccinated\".

No requirement to switch - if you wish to stick to the same one as you've had so far, no problems with that. When I went for my 2nd booster, I was given a choice.

I think need a gap of 5mth to a year.
Will try on this Friday evening after work as the commencement date is changed from 17 Oct to 14 Oct 2022. Even though they don't allow me to take now, can wait one more month....no harm to try first.

Didn't say 1 year from the 14th day post-booster, or from date of booster injection?

Am planning my trip which will coincide with my booster anniversary. I am still a Covid-virgin...
