Not sure if is related, my DS primary school suppose to have a “Games Carnival by Active SG” on 23 Nov and is now shifted to another date. Just received notification thru Parents Gateway yesterday.

Another possible sign: one primary school having P1 Orientation on 22nd Nov. If the P and teachers are all hands on deck for Orientation, that implies can’t meet the P6s that day.

I know that MOE has said that the results would be announced from 23-25 Nov. Anyone have any idea as to whether it's more likely to be 23/24 rather than 25 (Friday)? I am planning to travel on 25 so possibly risking it a little here 🙂
I know a family who went traveling. Came back in December to collect report book and results slip. No problem at all, they had to email to inform the school.

It is not compulsory to turn up in school on PSLE results day. There is an option to login online from 11am to check. In fact, I’d rather check from home & avoid other parents who will definitely be comparing scores.

But DS will want to attend, as that’s his last opportunity to see his classmates together as one class.

                        Resurfacing this

                        https://www.channelnewsasia.com/commentary/psle-results-parents-coping-results-parenting-2316606

Due to covid, kids last year received their results in their classroom while parents are seated in another classroom waiting.

Remember to remind ourselves, our kids will look at us for our reaction. Really the biggest test for us parents. Really glad I took leave and planned something fun to do for the kids. We had a grand lunch and did bowling and laser tag in that afternoon. Helped to take away the attention, even though still cannot avoid a few WA and phone calls.
