Is 4th jab only open to above 50 right now?
I went to a clinic with my kid last weekend, and the doctor asked if I wanted another booster (which I declined). Not sure if the 2nd booster is possible or I am aging poorly

i read that instead of counting the doses taken, now the mindset is when was your last dose.
I took 4 doses; dh and dd had 3 doses.
Soon, I will go for the bivalent dose. Dh, being age above 50 would do so. Dd would be still at her 3rd dose. -
Any mum brought their parents to take the 5th dose ie the Moderna bivalent jab?

My parents went to get theirs a few days ago. They are both 84, and didn't mention any side effects. So far, my parents are the eager ones - they've always been among the first in their age group to get the jabs.
IMO it might be better to wait and see the effects of this bivalent dose. No hurry.
Again, my brother and sis-in-law will get the new jabs before my husband and me (because they are in healthcare). We will wait till sometime next year as we just had our boosters last month. -

Yes, it need at least 5 months after your previous jab and therefore they don't allow me to take now and ask me to come back in mid of November 2022.

It is good as your parents are protected by the new bivalent jab. For those over 50 years old, please hurry up. Compare to the suffering from the long Covid Symptoms and the lose of smell and taste during the infection of Covid, some mild side effects from the bivalent vaccine is \"nothing\".

More and more pple are re-infected. Anybody here were re-infected? Were the symptoms even milder than the 1st infection?

I heard over the radio 2 weeks ago that 15% are re-infected and that is a fairly high percentage.
