Do give the General Office a call. We were in a similar situation a few years ago. They arranged a separate timing for us to collect what was distributed on Reporting Day. RI bookstore accepts advance order of the books/stationery (do confirm with them in case any recent changes) and on the uniform arrangement.

I think the Sec 1 booklist will not be out this early. You can ask another parent whose son is also going to RI next year to order the books/stationery in advance after the booklist is out so you can collect at the bookshop when you are back in Singapore. You can also call the bookshop to check if they have delivery service so you can collect from a friend/relative place.

Uniform -> I think you should be able to buy some sets before Dec (uniforms and PE attire, jacket is optional). I am not aware of any new changes (the last change to different material/vendor was quite recent in Nov 2019). Do check with the General Office and if there is no change of uniform/supplier this year, contact the school bookshop for their opening days/hours (also check if they have stocks before you go).

Students who have obtained a grade of D7 or better in Higher MT at the GCE ‘O’ Level need not offer H1 MTL in JC (Year 5-6).

As we will be away in December, so we would like to prepare this ahead. Just wanted to check if anyone have the RI uniform list (like what we need to buy) for secondary 1 student? I noticed that secondary school Uniform is no longer so straight forward. There are tie, badge, jacket etc.....

Based on last year’s experience & recall correctly, DSA students would receive booklist and date to purchase books and uniforms in somewhere November. They can purchase early December at school before the results of school posting is released. Or order online & home delivery or pickup from school.

* School uniform (white shirt & short pant) - 3sets
* Short pant - 2pcs
* House t-shirt - 1pc (there is a day is to house shirt with white pant) - this need to wait till get the house assigned to.
* PE (t-shirt & short) - 2sets
* Polo-T - 1pc (optional to wear on Friday with white pant) - we got this Polo T to reduce 1 white shirt to wash 😅
* Tie - 1pc for special occasions
* School badge - 1pc
* Jacket (hoodies and windbreaker) - optional
* School socks - optional

kids need to change back school uniform after PE.
They are not allowed to wear PE attire during lessons except PE lesson 😄
Increase laundry tasks during weekend😅

Just visited In-Trend uniform over weekend, they moved to 1 Kaki Bukit Road 1(01-31) despite Google Map still showing address as Geylang Road. It's in the middle of a warehouse-like facility, took a few minutes to find the shop.
