Past years where R2 was on also PSLE marking week, results were released Thurs/Fri of the first week of Nov, latest Monday of second week. Surely those years would also have those sick and having to do make up papers? Yet the results were released by first week of Nov. I also understand that 12 Nov is the date for the briefing (some school’s calendar) so I cannot imagine that the results will be any later than 12 Nov. Maybe those who do make up papers will receive results slightly later? Or could it be that those having to do make up papers are but a small handful and those papers can be marked in a day so results will still be out by 4 Nov.

Yes my thoughts too. For any given year we will have students who couldn’t make it due to medical reasons but the number should be small.

I read in a 2015 post that for that year the briefing was done in nush but probably not the same venue each year? I am replying to an earlier post here about venue for briefing.

What I read somewhere is that briefing venue is either RI or NUSH (alternate years).

It would be exciting indeed to find out the results - put us out of our misery

Given COVID changed many things such as longer MCs, if the previous years the absentees are also taking the papers the same time as this year, I guess then results may be this Fri. If these absentees had them earlier previously, then result may be delayed (I hope not)

indeed as what jlady1979 says, to put us out of misery. Very random but last night I dreamt my child failed. 😞 And I have been so occupied with work yesterday. Argh..

I wish MOE can quickly desseminate the results. They prob already know … we tell ourselves the results doesn’t matter, and in truth it doesn’t, but the exams makes one feel like our kids are being judged and in doing so, we are also being judged…

Agree. The kiddos are also done/ about to be done with exams so now they’d have a lot of free time on hand. My son just asked this morning what were the tough tests about and when can he know the result…

Hi parents, will the result be mailed to our homes or given to our kids at school? Thank you!
