A friend shared with me her nightmare experience of not being able to get uniforms after Sec school posting during Covid years. I suppose the supply situation would have eased by now?

I actually bought DS uniform last weekend :oops: Dec will be a busy month for us and I really do not wish to stand under the hot sun q-ing for uniform.

We bought uniforms the week before posting results were released. Call them before you go down as some of them will be stocked only then.

Any difference between normal secondary sch vs independent schools for canteen prices?

Yes, of course u can start buying school uniform now, if your kid have accepted the Secondary school's CO. Don't wait until December then start to buy because by then, very crowded, or maybe the size that your kid want is out of stock, because so many people are buying by then, as brand new year 2023 school Term 1, Sec 1, open

I don't see why not... but why not wait till results come out and then you can get your uniform + school books at the same time?

Don’t we need to know their house colour before we buy their uniform or you guys are referring to the more formal uniform? I think some schools allow the lower secondary to be in their PE clothes, so a friend told me not to buy too many of the formal set yet.

Very hectic period after posting results out, so will be harder to buy.

HCI uniform (PE or otherwise) won't vary based on consortium. I do not know what the policy will be re attire next year (PE/other school t-shirts allowed or need full uniform all the time).

There may be other consortium specific t-shirts to buy, and the last two years the boys could wear these too. But I don't know if that will continue...
