Any report when is Pfizer bivalent out ?
Wonder should wait or just go for Moderna one
        My previous were all Pfizer
All my previous 4 jabs are Pfizer but with this modena as my 5th jab, no side effects, can work, can play and can sleep well.

          Different people different reactions.

For most even if there is some discomfort, it is bearable. But there are a few who had more severe reactions. One of my staff developed severe rashes that kept her up at night and she was almost crying in frustration. My masseuse refuses to go for the bivalent and will not allow her son to take the bivalent booster. Her husband went for the bivalent booster and ended up in ICU for 10 days and at 1 point it was touch and go, doctors told them to prepare and get all family members down. Luckily he pulled through.

So for those who see their family members or friends have severe reactions, they will tend to be more resistant to taking the bivalent. Also those with allergies or adverse reactions to certain drugs will be more cautious and they should be as the vaccine is almost as new as the latest variant and we are not fully sure of what are the long term effects.

For the case with severe reaction, did the side effects surface during the 30min observation period?

              Apparently not.

For the staff, jab in the afternoon, rashes started that night. For my masseuse's DH, jab morning, by mid day slightly unwell and by evening worsened to the point that they had to call the ambulance.

Were they able to determine that his reaction was due to the bivalent vaccine? Perhaps there was also something in his genetic makeup which triggered such a severe reaction. But glad that he's OK nonetheless.

For the others who I know have taken the bivalent booster, none have come out with anything more severe than what was anticipated, i.e. soreness, mild fever, fatigue, x-ray vision... Ha! Just kidding... no fatigue šŸ˜›

This is the tricky part; nothing unusual during the 30min observation and all will assume just the usual known side effects and hence continue activities as per normal.

To be clear, observation period for boosters is only 15 minutes, not 30 minutes.

... Still disappointed that I've yet to develop x-ray vision or some superhuman power but I guess I'll settle for smaller blessings.
                      ...
Not sure why getting x-ray vision should be on one's wishlist. Isn't it kind of creepy to see skeletons walking around all the time? And you can't turn it on and off like superman. :skeptical:

My kind of x-ray vision allows me to... oh never mind. I'll settle for the ability to eat less, but that seems harder to get than x-ray vision these days.
