We were really happy that our child managed to get AL1 for PSLE maths. Truly believe that the tutor we engaged for him in P6 was a great help! As our child was previously with a very famous and pricey tutor from P4-P5 (which somehow didn’t work out so well in the end), we could compare the teaching style and realize how under-rated our P6 engaged tutor was. He is extremely low profile and in fact we only managed to find him as we were looking through very elaborately at youtube videos explanations on challenging PSLE questions to find someone who was able to explain complex questions in the simplest way. That’s how we came across "Beautiful Maths". True enough, he was able to advice our child on using more time efficient and effective methods to solve challenging sums, and to be very aware of the MOE marking criteria - what can gain working marks vs what might not. These are very useful tips!

I have heard about this underrated but good recommendation on the parent chatgroups. -
My DS did Maths at TLL (MP). Good score so no complaints.

wow xyun that’s very advanced indeed for P1. This heuristic qn is only taught in P3 or P4 if I am not wrong!
TLL actually taught these questions 3 years in advance!! Really faints. -
please advise where is Mr. Ong from Beautiful Maths located? Are his classes big?
-
Since TLL teaches so advanced, if a child enters only at P5, can he catch up?
What if he cannot cope or do not understand at all what class is doing, will the teacher provide some assistance or personalised attention just so that he can catch up in class?
Would anyone recommend a good maths tutor in TLL Parkway? -

TLL is know for their advanced math and large class size. TLL teachers will not wait for the slower students and the class will just carry on with the syllabus. If you can accept that then TLL is highly recommended.
