Now only bivalent jab? Anymore P or M?

You have taken how many times already?
I believe Singapore is recommending the bivalent jab as adult boosters from now on. Not sure if the non-bivalent ones will still be available.

I have take 4 jabs so far, but the last one was in Sep, before the bivalent vaccine was released. I will probably get another one later this year if I decide to travel. If I stay within Singapore, I'll wait till closer to Sep before deciding.

The 5 months is \"can take if you want\"; the 1 yr is \"recommended to take\".
As for stroke patients, it is better to take after 5 or 6 months from the last dose in order to protect them.

            3. You have advised us to take vaccination fast in your post yesterday and today you told us that you are going to drag on, I don't understand...... :?[/quote]
I am for vaccination, but I want to drag the interval for as long as I can, to maximize coverage lah. If I take the shot now, it would have expired when I start teaching again in September. You think the government will continue to give free shots? Don't count on it.

The Bivalent Vaccines is more effective to target the Omicron variant comparing to the original vaccines and therefore one should get the Bivalent Vaccines once receive the SMS notification from MOH. The effectiveness of the last original booster dose will decline rapidly after 6 months and there is not such things as dragging the interval to max coverage. We have been 苦口婆心的劝说 to advise you to take the bivalent vaccines as soon as possible. Sigh.......

I think I u’stand u for stretching the benefit of govt vaccine support before it becomes own cost responsibility.

DS hv so many a tivities going on that I’m feeling the pain for his feet dragging, whatever the reasons. He’s going on a trip in Jul & his races will stop only in May. Hopefully, he get his bivalent then

Think as covid becomes endemic, it be IMEA like the annual flu bug & we take responsibility to get our annual jab. MOH will not need to play papa/mama role nagging us to Q & get jab le.

His health is much more important than money. Hope he will not get infected by Covid 19.
