Every year many top students are applying to study medicine. The medical schools here are very competitive and challenging with only 500 seats available. So not all top scorers are selected and be prepared to be disappointed.
does it mean that
ALL 2004 born students, who sat for 2022 A-level, from
Junior Colleges (RI + Hwa Chong + Nanyang + Eunoia + Victoria + National + Temasek + Dunman High + River Valley High + SAJC + ACJC + ASRJC + all other remaining JCs), with A-level perfect score UAS
90 points,
All can walk straight, smoothly into Medical faculty (NUS Yong Loo Lin + NTU Lee Kong Chian), assuming they apply for MBBS ?

Admissions into Medical Schools may not be as straight forward as it seems!

For Admissions into LKCMedicine for this academic year (2023-24), applicants must include the submit the following:

Hi All
My child has applied for Medicine & another course via the NUS admission portal. She has completed her application last night. I read that for NUS Medicine course - there is a requirment to submit a PS and link for 2 referee reports. Till now we have not come across this stage. Will we get another email notification for this? Thanks -

It's all under the same submission portal. When you are opting for Medicine as your choice, relevant links will be provided and instructions given for you to fill out the rest of the requirements such as personal statement and referees details. If you have missed that out, log back to the submission portal to review and check them again. Make sure you do not missed out anything. If you have filled up your referees, you will receive an acknowledgement via email once your referees have submitted their form back to NUS Medicine. Wishes your child best of luck.

Thanks Desmond for your reply. There was no attached link when we input our selection on the Course of Study section. We also encountered a 404 error when trying to click on the *Submit Portfolio* button. Not sure if any other applicants experience the same.

Try doing it on a laptop? Phones can be incompatible. Sometimes, it will state if you should complete it over windows or Mac.

Sorry to hijack this thread but I really don’t want to create another thread for my qn.
For those who go for overseas med sch, I heard that there’s an option to apply to MOH for partial sponsorship from 3rd year onwards. The deal is that upon graduation, need to be bonded to MOH for a few years. How does that work?
