Markets are volatile. We can only make best informed decision based on information available at the relevant time.

Yea true..I was hesitating when I read on the banks issues..but that time already given deadline to reply le. Just take lor as kinda foresee if need to lose on the interest probably is 1 year interest difference and if suay alot of diff then probably to pay penalty to get out from it.

Oh, so you took fixed mortgage for 3.8% for 2 years? The certainty of having a fixed repayment is definitely a plus… (but I’m still rooting for a drip in rates). If have extra cash can generate more income using other tools. The average S&P 500 index returns for the last decade is >10% per year.

Yes taken that package. I just guess that probably for 1st yr won't be alot of diff. Yes the fixed repayment is a plus. I don't think I will buy more stocks..coz I don't have that kind of luck. Now just looking for more stability..

Ditto view on interest rate for me in not coverting to fixed rate. Prefer to run gap book and maintain liquidity for opportunistic conversion to assets.

I never tried those t bills/govt securities before. Need to learn. For me, going forward likely FD and those bills. Would like to have something on shorter term.
