Thanks @Zeal mummy! We've just submitted our application to SOTA for visual arts and still deciding on a suitable visual arts DSA secondary school that does not mandate students to take HCL eg. Not Nan chiau.. she really has no interest even if they have Mondays 3-6pm arts and taking arts for upper sec EAP n O levels. The HCL is a deterrent.

      *********

      So to speak, I coach:
      1) parents/guardians on their relationships with their children, how can they help their children to be better in school or be better versions of themselves for their children (mainly parents as we are all on kiasu parents PSLE 2023 now as we speak) :xedfingers:
      2) financial mgmt - can be on $, property, insurance, etc (no selling here)
      3) parents as adults navigating through career, life, relationships, further studies, better health, at a crossroad or simply wanting to build confidence and good habits (have several clients in this area)

Coachees can be first timers and willing to approach the discussion with an open mind to see the benefits. Basically it is using a scientific solution focused model to use what you inherently know (Search: Solution Focused academy and ICF ACC/PCC accreditations)

Can message me at kiasuparents inbox or email to [email protected] - thanks a lot! πŸ₯°

        Dear Parents,

Can other parents recommend some tuitions/holiday programs to prepare for PSLE - Science and Maths mainly (that does not burn a huge hole in the pocket)
Kid is good with basic concepts and scores around 80% and above for all subjects with no tution at the moment.
But I think a few months or refresher will do some good.

Look forward to some suggestions. Thanks and good luck to all of us πŸ™‚

We went for 3 subjects in March before, kid likes the science n English though find maths a bit tough. Can wait for promo for an outlet near you πŸ™‚ we went to tampines century sq n can reward kid with a toy outside the centre after all lessons lol :rahrah:

Ya but i think it's more to entice parents to sign up for the other https://www.bluetreeeducation.com/ courses.

Hi can any parent please recommend an English crash course for P6 for PSLE Paper 2? Has anyone tried the TLL or Lil But Mighty Crash Course. Or do we just do those assessment books from Popular? Past year papers answers seem inaccurate in some instances & I am unable to verify whether it is correct.

If you know which specific section of p2 he needs help in, he can do assessments books and also watch those online videos targeting at that section. If it’s whole paper and not doing so well in many sections, then I would recommend him to try LBM. Again, u need to be specific and let the teachers know, follow up..

Heard about https://englishninjas.sg/ june holiday intensive revision courses being recommended in a parents groupchat. Maybe you can give this a try.

I wonder if other P6 kids start asking for caffeine at this time?
