I received a calendar of events for P1 at the beginning of year. Thus start to mark the relevant dates for purposes like need to take leave etc πŸ™‚ My nature to plan ahead & not to miss important dates...

No further details pertaining to the e-learning day has been given so far though.

The calendar is available at the main website, click on the tab \"About us\", there will be an option on calendar of events. The preliminary hardcopy copy of calendar of events was distributed sometime in the beginning of the year.

          For your easier reference:

If no change in their plans, P2 E-learning day will also be on 14 July

                  Hi

May I get some feedback from the current RPGS student mummies which preschools did you put your DDs to before they go into the school which help to prepare your girls for P1 ? I am planning to put my girl in zoo- phonics , not sure if its a wellrounded preschool , anyone can provide some feedback ?

                  Thanks a Mil !

Hi LeeTaiTai, regarding school's temporary location, KSP has posted a link earlier, which is the only official info we got so far from the school ...

Pre-school wise, my girl attended Kinderland. We also sent her to \"I can read\" when she was in K2 to ensure she can read before she starts P1.

hi luanee , thanks a lot for the feedback, we wanted to get a place near the school , now I worry if moe will allocate a premises that is too far off, guess we can only wait ξ„ˆ

thanks for your preschool feedback , I am struggling on the preschool as there are just so many choices in the market , so knowing how to read is the most basic requirement before hitting P1 ? Every preschool I ask will claim they will prepare kids for P1 , same for zoophonics . But being a phonics -focus school , I was afraid they will de-empasize other subjects and they are very classroom driven ie barely any outdoor activities which they agree except for some occasional trips . Guess no school can provide perfect curriculum , I am just over-worried I make the wrong choice !

                        hi all,

My P1 girl will be starting her swimming lesson next week for an 8-weeks' duration with the school.

For those of you who had gone through the experience, can you help to share on the following:

                        1. Does your girl change into their swimming costume only before the swimming lesson?

                        2. Understand that they have to wear PE attire over the swimming costume, so does most of you buy those 2-piece swimming costume instead of the typical 1-piece type?

                        3. After their swimming lesson, they just have to wear the PE attire, no need to wear the pinafore over the PE attire again right?

                        4. Personally I find it quite a hassle loh...why don't just let the girl wear PE attire to school, change into swimming costume before the lesson but no need to wear PE attire over it while on the bus to pool? I don't think a lot will be wearing those bikini type right? and some more they are just kids??

                        5. They will just leave their school bag & school shoe at the school & bring swimming bag & wear slipper to the pool?

Any other experience to share will be greatly appreciated.

                        Many thanks πŸ™‚

                        Rgds,
                        Ming
