“ S$99 every month seems very reasonable. I will to consider for my eldest for next year sec 1.”

Their subscription service is for O level syllabus (Sec 4). Not for Sec 1 to 3. Furthermore if your child going to IP, not relevant.

Don't think my eldest can even go IP. We didn't apply DSA.

Chey i thought can use the service for next year sec 1. Hope they launch the lower secondary option soon.

Lower secondary can survive & score well by self-studying. Most importantly the child needs to pay very good attention during lessons & make full use of the school teacher’s tips, notes and practice papers, as well as consult early if in doubt.

Those kids who start on the right foot in Sec 1 can make up for any poor results in PSLE. Saw quite a few testimonies in the FB groups. However, those who overcommitted to CCAs and 3rd language and whatever else less critical stuff, ended up insufficient time to study & failed several subjects for their WAs. Especially the 3 humanities, which are new to them. Tuition is not available for lower sec humanities, so have to learn from own mistakes and consult teacher.

But I can understand if the Sec 3/4 kids need the extra summaries/crash courses/expert tutoring for O level purposes. That is the right time to 拼 as hard as possible (like PSLE I suppose).
