If they have no symptoms, how would they know they have Covid? Why test at all? I also hear from some people that they have Covid, and I'm wondering why they bothered to test. Just treating the symptoms and staying home is all that's required now.

I still haven't had symptomatic Covid (haven't had any cold/cough/flu symptoms since 2020), though I only wear masks when mandatory. And if I've had asymptomatic Covid, I wouldn't know.
I don't know. Maybe it's because someone around them has the disease or the test is mandated by company policy...

We need to test because whenever the result is still positive, have to stay home instead of coming to office and spread to other colleagues.[/quote]
Is that the rule in your office? What about other respiratory illnesses? I guess your office may single out Covid because you can't WFH. But they don't want too many people not at work!

In my office, and in many where staff can WFH, there is no distinction between Covid and flu, etc. As long as we have a respiratory illness, we either get MC if we are ill enough, or WFH.

I wouldn’t know also if I ever had asymptomatic covid. Dd2 tested 2x each for both occurrence when she has flu. Coz her results were negative and the rest of us don’t have any symptoms, we didn’t bother to test le.

How can we repair a bulkly machine from home? As an essential service provider, we cannot bear the consequence of more than 10% of the site staff fell ill simultaneously.

That's important to keep a certain number of employees in good health at any time..

Your co. provides free test kits?

Yuh... nobody talks about COVID anymore...

I still got a ton of masks. So I'll put them on until they run out... in 2040 😓
