      Jennifer:
There is a CL reading assignment to be handed up on 29 Jun.

Can someone recommend an author from the list whose book is not too difficult to read but still can meet the requirements for the assignment?

      Many thanks in advance.
Jennifer, i remember you said you signed your son up for the stanford writing programme or something like that? So he's spent the hols attending this?

Yes, 1st two weeks 9am to 3pm. 1st week the trainers touched on poetry, 2nd week on story writing. At first, he finds it sian to go back to sch in the hols, after 3rd day, he began to enjoy the lessons. Glad that he signed up for the course. Plus, hubby made it a point to drive him to sch in the morning.

Hi my son will be boarding next week and I’m still unclear about certain things, the most important being the laundry

          1. Anyone knows how laundry works? Does my son have to label all his clothes?

          2. Is there a dryer system and does my son have to iron his clothes by himself

          3. Will I be able to go outside the school and pick up laundry from him in mid week? Would this be easier?

          4. Do they have to bring their own bedsheets and pillows, and does he have to wash them as well?

If anyone can help to suggest anything that would be great

My son will be boarding in the last term, these questions you have posted are useful for me as well, however, my approach will be getting my son to find out instead of me finding out and feed him with the information.

            Just a different approach.

Holidays coming to an end already. So quickly it seems.

As usual, my boy was busy most of the holidays - oh well. His hols already started 1 week later bc his last exams was in the 1st week of the hols. Then I think they had project meetings and then this & that, and this week mostly taken up by that math/sci carnival which I don’t even know how he got involved in.

Nevermind, back to routine next week!!! yay!

There will be a parents teachers meeting in late July (according to my boy’s personal mentor).

Made enquiry abt KM upload of student’s progress. The personal mentor said this has not started yet, did not mention when we can see the results in KM either.
