Actually, nowadays a lot of ppl marry late and give birth past 30 so this is a very common social phenomenon. -

Nice to see you here. Yes you are right that is it getting quite common. Though I have a feeling that many mommies of primary school kids are in their early 30s ?
I think there may be a generation gap between early 30s and late 30s

Hey Tamarind,
Nice to see you here too.
Hmm…reports in the press are confusing. On the one hand, they say that the population is not growing and ppl are not having enough babies, but on the other hand, I seem to see heaps of pregnant women everywhere and even in the gynae clinics. Then again, it is also mentioned. that ppl are marrying later but like you say, I see many mummies giving birth before 25. I’m confused too.
Oh then is one lady in my workplace, only 31 and with 4 kids. The oldest the same age is yours and my dd!
Maybe its the social circle. All my hubby’s friends are not married. We seem more ‘advanced’ then them cos we have a kid. On the other hand, I am a rarity amoung my friends with only one kid. Most have 2. -
Hi! I'm > 35 and have 2 children aged 2 &4, so I'm elligible for this forum!
