Better to wear a mask at home especially if you are still coughing.
Watch out for any symptoms of your girls and hubby.
Although we are living with covid, we do know it is not the usual flu or cold we know. Hence it is better to be on the kiasu side.

According to doctors, after 7 days, even if positive, no longer infectious or risk of spreading the virus is very low. I guess that is why during the last stages of restrictions, SHN is only 7 days.

As much as I see a lot of people have been infected, I do know of many who has not been infected before. In our family, only DH has been infected. Myself, DS and DD have never been infected, DD’s BF has also not been infected, MIL and her sister have also not been infected, just to name some. Then again, who knows, we may have been infected but asymptomatic or symptoms so mild that we thought it is our regular sinus issues and never tested to find out.

Thanks chief..maybe we shall 'monitor' slmkhoo 😂
Oh, I was going to post and say that I probably caught Covid, finally! I just got back from overseas, and I think I caught it while there. I didn't test, so can't say for sure, but the cold lasted nearly 2 weeks, and only kind of wore off yesterday. Normally, my colds and flus don't last more than a few days to a week, and although I wasn't really ill, I was under the weather for longer than usual.

I'm going to assume that it was Covid, and am very happy that I don't have to be waiting for it to get me!

I have totally forgotten abt covid even when having fever. Cannot remember when was the time I had fever/flu. Dh got it half a year earlier than me just after bivalent jab. Dds I can't be sure now.

Yes I m ok too with covid not as scary as I thought.. hope this serve as having better immunity going forward?

You sound happy to catch the virus. As long as the symptoms are mild, you will be ok. Afterall, you are still young 🙂

Do check the validity of the ARt kits given by govt much earlier as they shld be near the expiry dates.

My dad who lives in Tampines, received the 6 ART kits given by govt via post. The expiry is Mar or Apr 2024.

My husband came down with the cold before me, and so I probably caught it from him. But we have never bothered to isolate etc, so I've had other chances to catch but didn't. He recovered much faster this time, maybe because it wasn't Covid, or it was his 2nd/3rd time!

I wouldn't worry about your daughters - if they are going to get it, they should have already and it's too late to do anything. You won't be infectious after day 7.

Actually don't know how is the SOP at home for many nowadays.. when tested positive, I told my mom. My mom asked me to put on mask at home since dd2 is having so many issues recently..I was like how like this..I have been living with them as per normal for the past 2 days when I was having fever. So I ended up no mask wearing at home, have my own mug/cup, eat and sit and my own corner. We still move around all inside the car but I put my mask on. Outside I tightened my mask.
Take care and rest more if can... . good to hear yours is mild.
